In this episode we welcome Sanchali Sarkar who tells us about her project, N Narratives.
Sanchali is an independent researcher working on women and public transport. At the moment she is carrying out a short research project on South Asian women commuters’ travel experiences in Germany, and was a visiting academic at the Chair of Comparative Development and Cultural Studies at Passau University, Germany. At the moment she is a lecturer at the Department of English, Basanti Devi College, Kolkata.
N Narratives is a digital platform that started its journey very recently in October 2021. Its aim is to hold monthly talks (individual,or as a group), interviews, and book discussions on themes broadly related to gender and race, in a bid to merge the gap between academia and activism.
