Research interests: Kumeri is interested in research on social care, care ethics, food, gender, colonial histories, migration, and intersectional feminism

Short bio: Kumeri is currently working on her PhD in Population Health at the University of Oxford. Her research focuses on ethical challenges in the context of older adult residential care provided by migrant care givers in the UK. Before starting her PhD, she earned her MPhil in Visual, Material, and Museum Anthropology from the University of Oxford in 2020, and her BA in Social Anthropology, and Romance Languages and Literatures from Harvard University in 2018. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, cooking, hanging out with friends, traveling, learning new hobbies, and reading.
