Sean Scally (He/Him)
Central Michigan University
Sean Scally is a PhD candidate in transnational and comparative history at Central Michigan University. His research and teaching interests encompass modern United States and European history, with a focus on eugenics, gender and medicine during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. In addition to studying at Central Michigan, Sean has undertaken research fellowships at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow as well as the Ruhr Universität, Bochum. He is currently working on a dissertation project that examines the intersections of masculinity and eugenic ideologies in Britain and the US during the Progressive Era.
